TinyVideo ("we", "us", or "our") operates tinyvid.io, a video compression and optimization service. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights — depending on whether you use browser-based processing or cloud credits.

2. Free Tier — Browser-Based Processing

The Free tier processes video entirely inside your browser using WebAssembly (FFmpeg.wasm). Your video files never leave your device. We do not collect, transmit, or store any video content from Free-tier users.

We may collect anonymous, aggregated usage signals (e.g., page views, feature interactions) through standard web analytics to improve the product. No personally identifiable information is attached to these signals.

3. Cloud Credits

When you use cloud credits, you upload video files to our servers for faster, cloud-accelerated processing. The following applies:

• Video files are uploaded to our secure servers for processing. Uploaded files are retained on our infrastructure for up to 8 hours after the job completes and are then automatically deleted.
• Account data (email address, hashed password, credit balance, and reward history) is stored in our database to provide your account and credits.
• Offerwall data is handled by Google AdSense. We store the credit reward event needed to update your balance.
• Email address is used to send account-related communications (e.g., password reset, verification, and processing-complete notifications). We do not send unsolicited marketing email.

We use minimal cookies necessary to maintain your authenticated session. Advertising and anonymous analytics may use cookies or local storage according to their own policies.

• Google AdSense — advertising and Offerwall rewards. Subject to Google's own privacy terms.

• Pro video uploads: deleted automatically within 8 hours of job completion.
• Account data: retained while your account is active. You may request deletion at any time by emailing us.
• Credit reward records: retained to operate balances and prevent duplicate rewards.

We use industry-standard security practices including HTTPS, hashed passwords, and time-limited file retention to protect your data. No system is completely secure; we will notify affected users promptly in the event of a data breach.
